Description

Levulose is another name for fructose, a naturally occurring sugar with a lower glycemic index than sucrose. Dezire’s brochure positions its sweetener at GI 19 and about 1.7× the sweetness of regular sugar, so less may be needed to reach a similar sweetness level. Its sweetness is clean and rounded rather than intensely high-potency. Because Levulose is hygroscopic, it readily attracts moisture: keep the pack tightly closed, and expect it to help retain softness and moisture in suitable baked applications.

How to Use

Use 1 sachet for a medium-to-large cup of tea, coffee or beverage; Dezire’s current food-service listing describes each 5g sachet as roughly equivalent in sweetness to 2 teaspoons of sugar. Adjust to taste.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place in an airtight pack. Levulose is hygroscopic and can absorb atmospheric moisture, so reseal immediately after use and always use a clean, dry spoon.

We have been using/consuming Dezire Sweetener ever since its introduction in the market and ot has been a savior for us diabetics it has proved beyond doubt the manufacaturer's claims about low glycemic index. We are happy we found this product. We have also tasted other items on their menu and found them mm authentic in taste.

The USP of this Sweetener is that it is the closest in taste to the refined white sugar and does not leave any after taste like Aspartame found in other substitutes. I have tried then all and rejected.
